Four heroines. Six stages. One very overdue rescue.

Haruto was reincarnated into a fantasy world full of magic, adventure, and possibilities. Then Demon Lord Tamamo kidnapped him.

His friends are taking it surprisingly well.

Mimi brought a rifle. Kohaku brought foxfire. Coco calculated the acceptable amount of property damage. Sana packed healing herbs—and enough firepower to make them optional.

Welcome to Senpai Storm, a fast-paced, side-scrolling run-and-gun adventure that combines classic arcade action with hand-drawn anime artwork and a lighthearted isekai rescue story.

Pick your heroine, grab a controller, and blast your way through Tamamo’s army. Your senpai isn’t going to rescue himself.

Meet your rescue squad

🐱 Mimi — Small paws. Big firepower. A quick-footed cat girl armed with the rapid-fire PAW-90. Keep moving, keep shooting, and unleash Kitty Catastrophe when the demon army needs a particularly enthusiastic introduction.

🦊 Kohaku — Turn up the foxfire. A fox girl with three-way firepower and very little interest in subtlety. Her Nine-Tail Festival fills the fight with swirling foxfire, giving enemies plenty of reasons to reconsider their career choices.

🤖 Coco — Time to clean house. A cyborg maid who treats senpai retrieval as mandatory and collateral damage as a scheduling issue. Reinforced armor, a piercing cannon, and the enormous Maid to Order beam make her exceptionally thorough.

🌿 Sana — Gentle soul. Serious firepower. An elf with seeking leaf bolts, a double jump, and a surprisingly explosive approach to conflict resolution. Her Thousand-Petal Promise sends a magical barrage after anyone standing between her and Haruto.

Six stages of escalating arcade chaos

Fight through cherry-blossom villages, lantern-lit shrines, sprawling industrial fortresses, floating sky islands, rose-covered battlefields, and Tamamo’s moonlit palace.

The journey starts gently enough to find your feet, then builds into crowded firefights, dangerous enemy combinations, and increasingly demanding encounters. Each stage includes a demon captain miniboss and a major boss with changing attack patterns.

Learn their windups, find your openings, and keep moving.

Cute comes heavily armed

Sometimes a rifle just doesn’t make enough of an entrance.

Hop into the Mochi Panzer kitty tank, ride the Kitsune Scooter, or climb aboard the Usagi Strider bunny walker. These adorable combat machines bring extra protection and serious firepower—but their batteries won’t last forever. Make every second count.

Along the way, collect six weapon upgrades: heavy machine guns, spread shots, piercing lasers, homing rockets, chain lightning, and dragonfire.

More than a mission for one senpai

Tamamo’s army has taken other captives, too. Free the friends you find along the way, build your score, and earn extra lives to keep the rescue going.

Checkpoints and unlimited continues help you push forward, while Cozy, Arcade, and Chaos difficulty settings let you choose how fiercely the demon army fights back. Stage Practice lets you revisit the action without starting the campaign over.

Turn it up

Charge into battle with a high-energy soundtrack featuring Japanese punk-inspired instrumentals, separate boss themes, and cinematic music throughout the story.

A dramatic opening sets the mission in motion. Finish the campaign for the story’s conclusion and an animated after-party credit sequence full of character moments, rescued friends, and a little well-earned nonsense.

Ready to deploy?

Play in your desktop browser with controller or keyboard support. A controller and fullscreen are recommended.

Connect your controller and press a button so the browser recognizes it. On an Xbox-style controller, use the left stick to move, right stick to aim, X or RT to shoot, A to jump, B for grenades, RB to dash, and Y for your special. Click the left stick to interact with vehicles and weapon pickups.

Keyboard players can use A/D to move, J to shoot, Space to jump, K for grenades, Shift to dash, I for specials, and E to interact.

Current build: v1.2.8 — Playtest Edition

Includes the six-stage single-player campaign, opening cinematic, ending, and credits. Your feedback helps shape the next update—tell us your favorite heroine, how the combat feels, and which boss gave you the most trouble.
